At La Traga, we don’t just serve street food Colombian-style… this is a nonstop trip straight to Medellín! Every bite is a teleportation to its streets, full of flavour, music, and pure chimba (great) energy.
Here, cultures collide, crews come together, and the paisa essence is lived raw and unfiltered. If you’re Colombian, you’ll feel right at home; if not, welcome to a street food experience that’ll leave you tragao (hooked).
This is the spot where people come together with no pretenses or complications—just good vibes and street flow. OUR ROOTS
La Traga Street Food was founded during the lockdown by Sara Gomez, who decided to take a leap and start her own business after losing her job.
With the support of Laura Velez, our creative chef, and her sister Laura Gomez, in charge of digital marketing, the dream became a reality. We opened our doors in October 2021, and since then, we’ve been working hard to bring you the very best of Colombian street food.
Social Commitment
As we grow, our long-term goal is to open doors for more Latin American women and migrants of all backgrounds, offering real opportunities to develop their talent and build a future with us. We want La Traga to be more than just a street food spot—it’s a place where hard work and passion turn into growth and new possibilities.
